~ Refinishing Process ~

   This vintage coffee table has been refinished in distressed white with iron undertones over a dark, stained wood. The table has been sanded down then stained & painted in layers before being sanded a second time to reveal the layers of added color, darker wood stain & underlying natural wood grain. 

   Please keep in mind that this is a vintage piece & will have imperfections throughout. These tiny chips & dings have been left intentionally to add to the table’s character & rustic style. 

   The drawers & inside storage area have been done in an iron hue, to match the table’s undertones. The coffee table has been sealed with a clear coat finish, inside & out, for added durability.    

   The table’s base, drawer pulls & hinges are all wrought iron & have been done with a rusted iron finish. Furniture pads have been added to the bottom of the table’s feet to protect it’s wrought iron base, (& your floors).
