~ Refinishing Process ~

   This vintage bench has been sanded down to a smooth finish & stained. The solid wood bench frame has been painted in distressed moss green hues with rusted iron undertones.

   The bench has honeycomb & tiny bees burnt into the stained wood portions. The honeycomb & tiny bees have been accentuated with iridescent golden hues. These iridescent accents give the honeycomb & bees a glowing effect when the sun hits them.

   All wood burned accents on this piece were done freehand in order to allow for the design to better compliment the piece’s natural structure.

   The bench has solid cast iron scrolls with ornate oak tree leaf designs built into the sides of it’s solid wood frame. 

   The entire bench has been sealed with a clear coat finish, from top to bottom, for added durability.
